Both are really good games and it’s worth you buying at least one of them.Guitar Hero Guitar Hero is a simple game for show the people same tips of guitar hero games. However, if you are fine with just 6 songs, paying more for new content and want the different gameplay tweaks the Guitar Hero iOS game can offer, go ahead and buy it. Getting over 3 times as many songs as Guitar Hero for only slightly more than 2 times the price. It may be a steeper price, but it’s better value for money. Personally, the better iOS music game of these is Rock Band. Special notes in which you have to slide across the screen rather than just tap. Guitar Hero does introduce a twist though for their own iOS port. And each has their own equivalent of star power. Each has a stream of 4 notes on it which you tap as you would expect with a Guitar Hero/Rock Band game. Music choice isn’t everything though, we need to know how it plays too. So money wise Rock Band is probably the better to get. Guitar Hero’s 3 Song track Packs will set you back £1.19, in comparison Rock Band’s 2 song track packs will only cost you 59p, also some of them are free aswell. Hang on though, just like the console versions, the iOS versions of Rock Band and Guitar Hero have DLC, does this make up for the poor Price to content ratio of Guitar Hero? Put shortly, no. Sorry though, our good, money grabbing, friends at Activision don’t want to let you trial this before you buy.So the amount of music you get for your money is probably more wisely spent on Rock Band here. It also has its own free version for you to trial with. Although this is balanced by the softwares price in the App Store, Rock Band will cost you £3.99 in the UK App store. Rock Band gives you 20 songs straight away but Guitar Hero only gives you 6. A major difference between them however is the quantity of the songs.
Both genres are generally from the Rock genre. Both Guitar Hero and Rock Band on for iOS have real music that everyone knows.
